Horizon Eye Physicians was started by Dr. Pranav Patel and Dr. Shruti Aggarwal to provide Maryland communities with world-class, personalized eye care. Shruti Aggarwal, MD

Cornea & Refractive Surgeon

After finishing medical school, Dr. Aggarwal pursued an ocular surface and corneal research fellowship at Harvard Medical School. She trained at University of Virginia for her ophthalmology residency. She completed her advance fellowship in corneal disease and refractive surgery at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, which is consistently ranked the #1 eye hospital in the United States for the past 20 years. Dr. Aggarwal’s care philosophy to treat all her patients like family and is excited to provide excellent, compassionate care to the communities in Maryland.

Dr. Patel went to University of Maryland for his undergraduate studies and completed his medical school at West Virginia University. He trained at SUNY Stony Brook for his ophthalmology residency, where he served as the Chief Resident. He completed a prestigious uveitis fellowship with world-renowned expert Dr. Stephen Foster. He is excited to offer his expertise to all patients in the Maryland area for a personalized and unparalleled ophthalmology experience.

Dr. Aggarwal did an excellent job with my cataract surgeries. I had the left done in January and the next day my vision was excellent. In February I had my right eye done same result, I highly recommend Dr. Aggarwal, she was very pleasant and showed great concern for my well being.
